Here is a small hostel in the village,northwest Yakushima,

There is nothing here. Bustle of the city, cinema, sports gym.There are landscapes of ordinary country living in Japan,And it is only the world heritage forest, mountain, sea.
Slowly, your rhythm, your pace,for those who want to spend.
Very quiet, and also for Japanesea little nostalgic living.

We are having a cafe only on weekends and public holidays.
Weekday is a farm work.
During your stay, we do not interfere much.
If you wish, such as farming work and making miso we will also hold a workshop.
Hot spring, mountain climbing, diving and fishing in the sea, meditation and yoga · · ·.
Everything you spend time here is all up to you!

One of the traditional Japanese heating.
Enjoy simple cooking, drinking and eating at the charcoal fire, surrounding the fire.

Goemonburo. One of the traditional Japanese baths. I boil a big iron bathtub with firewood. The water of Yakushima is soft and special if it boils with firewood.
